Welcome to Te Kore Jade. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Te Kore Jade website and to purchases of Pounamu taonga, jewellery, custom carvings, gift cards and wānanga services.
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Te Kore Jade
Te Kore Jade is an Pounamu carving business specialising in authentic New Zealand Pounamu and handcrafted taonga.

2. Our Pounamu
Each piece of Pounamu is individually selected and hand carved.
Because Pounamu is a natural stone, individual pieces may vary in:
colour
pattern
translucency
markings
texture
shape
These natural variations are not considered faults and are part of what makes each taonga unique.
Photographs are provided as a representation of the item. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your device or screen.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and prices are accurate.
Occasionally, an error may occur. If we discover an error affecting an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected item.
An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and Te Kore Jade has confirmed the order.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where:
an item is no longer available
there has been an obvious pricing or listing error
payment cannot be processed
circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent us from fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, you will receive a refund of the amount paid.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Prices may change without notice, however changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
6. Handmade and Custom Taonga
Custom and commissioned pieces are individually created according to the customer's agreed requirements.
Before commencing a custom piece, we may confirm details such as:
design
size
stone
style
engraving or carving requirements
price
estimated timeframe.
Custom-made pieces may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns because they have been specifically created for the customer.
This does not exclude or limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Wānanga / Carving Experiences
Bookings for Te Kore Jade carving wānanga are subject to the booking details displayed at the time of purchase.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where a service cannot be provided as agreed, your rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.
8. Shipping
We will provide shipping information during checkout or in the relevant product information.
Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive available tracking information where applicable.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
9. International Orders
Customers ordering from outside Australia are responsible for ensuring that the purchase can legally be imported into their country.
Any applicable customs duties, taxes or import charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
10. Intellectual Property
All photographs, product images, website content, logos, designs, written material and other content appearing on the Te Kore Jade website are owned by or licensed to Te Kore Jade unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify or commercially use our content without our written permission.
11. Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
